My name is Kimberley Beer, and I am the creator and founder of Birds and Planes- a venture I am incredibly proud of. I am a return to work mum of a 17 month old beautiful boy, and am very lucky to split my time, working part time as a primary school teacher and doing all the wonderful things you get to do when you're a mum to a little one :)
Birds and Planes was an accidental project that I stumbled upon when I was scouring the internet, hell bent on a set of three images of a plane ascending in the sky that I wanted for my boy's room. When I couldn't find what I wanted, I decided to make it myself. That's where the series 'Plane' was created.
Loving the result, and with so many positive comments, I decided to design a few more images, develop my online store and just give it a go.
I have decided that I want to make my prints as affordable as possible, while maintaining the best quality that I can find. It is also very important to me to keep 'no hidden costs', so that when you reach the checkout of my store, the price you see advertised is what you pay. That includes free post Australia wide (so Please Australia Post, keep your post prices down ;) )
